Gaël is the owner and curator of the Galerie Monnin, descended from a family of gallerists that opened the gallery to the public in Haïti in 1956. She also serves as the executive director of the Monnin Private Collection, lending to her art collection management expertise.
She attended Emerson College in Boston and later worked in sales for the Delacroix family’s fine art gallery in New York. She has collaborated with artists, collectors, and organizations from all over the world, mounting exhibitions in Haiti, Europe and the United States. Among her many accomplishments was the facilitation of the Lowe Art Museumʼs acquisition of a work by an important Haitian artist.

Holly began her art career at Sotheby’s, New York as a specialist in the Impressionist and Modern Art Department. During her tenure, she worked on several major auctions, including the Collection of Mr. & Mrs. John Hay Whitney and The Eleanore and Daniel Saidenberg Collection.
She went on to manage a contemporary artist’s studio and a private collection of African American Art.
She brings experience across multiple areas in the art world with skills in research and cataloguing; collections care, organization, and display; and appraisal, insurance, and conservation oversight.
